As an educator, Tom has collaborated with a number of universities, theatres and organizations including San Diego State University, Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, La Jolla Playhouse, Patrick Studios Australia (Melbourne, Australia), Best of the Best (Melbourne, Australia), Baeksuk University (Seoul, South Korea), Grossmont College, the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE), the Illinois High School Theatre Festival, Metropolis Performing Arts Center, ShowChoir Camps of America, and Circle Theatre. Tom is known for his passionate and integrated approach to teaching the singing actor, musical theatre history and performance, vocal pedagogy, beginning acting, musical theatre accompanying, musicianship, and conducting.
